VCMS System Sheets
Your vcms system
WE can help you.
If one of our standard configurations doesn’t meet your needs, or you need more options, we can help you configure one to your liking (additional configuration, engineering, and software fees may apply). Here are a few questions to consider, and system worksheets to help get you started.
Questions for Spec’ing Your Custom VCMS System:
How many loads do you need to control?
This will determine how many power modules you will need.
Will any loads require more than 15 amps?
In some cases, we can pair outputs to give you up to 30 amps.
Do you have any Ground-Output loads?
How would you like to control your loads?
In addition to momentary and latching controls, we can offer 3-position controls, master / slave controls, and I/O logic-based controls.
How would you like to control your loads? Are there additional external conditions or logical states you need to monitor?
Are all controls ignition-switched, or do some need to operate battery-hot?
Once you have a good idea of what you need to control, and how you need to control it, download a worksheet for each module your system will need, and begin filling out how you envision wiring your vehicle.
(Please note, VCMS and VCMS-II hardware cannot currently be mixed and matched).
Email your completed worksheets, along with any additional information we might need (e.g. how you need the logic to work, or any special conditions or functions the worksheets don’t cover), and how many vehicles you are building on, and we will set up a time to discuss the details and pricing.
